Product Description Wave Ceptor's key secret is Atomic Timekeeping which ensures perfect timing by automatically picking up a signal from radio transmitters in locations all over the world. These radio controlled watches are dual region which, unlike other radio controlled products, allow you to switch between the UK and mainland Europe transmitters. The Wave Ceptor range also automatically adjusts for daylight savings time.

Shiny September 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just purchased on line and agree with previous review first appearance watch face surround is a bit shiny. The picture suggests a satin crome but it is very silvery. If the surround was satin or even just blue resin this would be even better and if the face was recessed it would protect the face from scratching. More I see it the less annoying the shiny face becomes. Great features for the price and I won't be changing the strap for a velcro as I have had those before and they do not last long. Might be hard to find one that goes with the blue finish!
great watch August 16, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great watch for the price. looks good, not easy with a digital, but has all the major features and easy to use. Having an always accurate and world time adjusting watch for this money is great. I have a soft spot also for mechanical watches for their craftsmanship but great watchmakers were always about the pursuit of fine timekeeping, and many high price mechanical watches today are more about obscene consumer vanity rather than aesthetics. That said I need to keep a mechanical watch running and wearing for the purity factor.
Excellent value watch. May 20, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I purchased this watch some time ago and have therefore had the chance to test it during day to day wear.
Features: Nice adjustable strap, however during the summer perspirating skin tends to irritate the skin and so I would advise changing the strap for a velcro altenative to soak up the sweat and avoid irritation.
The radio time feature keeps the watch synchronised and up to date with changes in national time such as British Summer Time. This is useful, espeically when visiting other countries.
Lap time and other time keeping devices are standard and thus are simple and effective. Also a standard alarm is included, this beeps when a certain time is reached.
A tough screen helps keep the device waterproof and shock resistant, this is effective as i've used the device under water. A standard backlight is also included, this is useful for night time viewing.
Overall, this watch is fantastic for the price and from a respectable watch company such as Casio you can expect quality even at the lowest range.
Great Watch - Shame About The Strap! March 17, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this watch when it was on offer and overall it is superb value for money in my opinion
The only down side is the strap - it is too narrow for a bloke's wrist and more importantly I feel it will not stand the test of time (Pun intended!)
I've seen other comments about Casio watch straps not being up to the job and I agree completely
If it wasn't for this it would be a 5 star item - the way the watch itself works is just perfect - for me anyway
Good value and Self Checks Time February 25, 2008 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
Good value at 15. The blue strap is a dark majenta blue so looks fine and not too geeky. Initally thought it was a bit shiny but is actually fine, and looks quite good. Very easy to use.
