For those who need glasses for reading, using these scales is a godsend because the large digital screen is very easy to read. The clicking noise that happens when you push the (large!) buttons reassures you that you have actually pushed it sufficiently. The zero-ing facility is great because you don't need to be a mathematician when adding the ingredients successively. It has a very easy wipe-clean surface and nowhere for flour and other foodstuffs to encrust. The only negative point is the tiny lettering that tells you whether you are weighing in Kg or lbs. Overall, a perfect gift for the myopic, fat-fingered cooks among us!
