My son would give this 5* May 29, 2007 6 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is a type of secret agent novel for younger readers. It is about children who work as a sort of teenage MI5. The story line moves along fast and concerns a drug dealer who has made millions from cocaine. The teenage spies have a mission: to infiltrate the family and find out their secrets where the real police have failed. The first chapter is the best; it builds tension nicely and should hook even reluctant readers. It also appeals to girls: my niece is devouring the series (13 years old). I have one or two slight concerns about morals. God is mentioned but only ever with a small g eg Thank god. When one of the teenagers does something really pretty shocking he feels "a bit sad" for a while and then seems to get over it with the help of "a few counselling sessions" kindly arranged by one of the Cherub leaders. Also, an old aged pensioner comes in for a bit of stick, on the grounds that one of the main character's parents were killed by a myopic senior citizen motorist. I wasn't sure of the message there. Still, I am sure that these things won't concern the average teen reader - parents may want to be aware of them, however.

This book is truly amazing. It features action and exitment all the way through. It is by far the best of the Cherub books. You should wait until your over 10 to read this book as it also feature a bit of swearing.

This is an absolutely amazing series whic will have you hooked from the first chapter. I have read all the books up to divine madness and think that so far class A is the best. You should probably wait until you are at least 11 to read this book to truly enjoy and understand it because of the drugs. this is a truly fantastic book which you will not regret reading.

its one of the best books ive ever read, so is the one before, (the recruit) and the one after ,(maximum security). Its about a boy called james adams who has to try and find enough evidence to put a famous cocaine seller (keith moore) in prison. he has to make freinds with his son(keith moore jnr.) and with the help of his freinds(kerry, nicole and kyle) he manages to complete his mission.
