What a joy ! March 17, 2004 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
My little boy has become captivated with Dora and this book is a fantastic addition to his growing obsession ! It is written very similar to the program and the text also makes it interactive, both asking questions and repeating phrases.
Brilliant! February 20, 2004 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
If you have a little Dora fan in your house, this book is sure to be a hit. We got this for our daughter when she was 18 months old, and she still requests it several times a week for her bedtime story aged 2.5yrs. It tells the story very much the same as it appears on the TV episode, with plenty of chances for your child to join in by finding things on the page, counting stars, and even yelling "swiper no swiping!". A super book, and good value for money. Despite being so well thumbed ours is still in very good condition.

More Dora Fun March 31, 2003 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I think this is my daughter's favorite Dora book - except for all the others.A good, fun read. Short reading time, which leaves more time to read it a second time (and third, forth, fifth...)
Little Star (Dora the Explorer) September 13, 2002 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
A colourful book which tells the story of Dora and Boots sending little star back into the sky after it fell down to earth. Based on the televion episode featuring this story, it follows their travels to the tall mountain from which they can send the Little Star back into the sky. It includes looking at "The Map" and using things in Dora's "Backpack" to help them. It also features some familiar characters including Swiper the Fox which readers should enjoy.
