For walking and excercising your pet then flexible dog leads are brilliant and they give your dog extra freedom to roam yet are still under your control. This is ideal when walking your pet in a park, farmland on in a forest where you may need to keep your dog in control at all times, possibly to stop them running off chasing deer or other wild animals. When your dog is in heat it can be easier and simplier to keep them on a long lead than to chase after them for "hours" as the case may be and possibly have puppies to look after and get home for.
