fab baby friends October 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This a fantastic learning toy my baby loves it, there is so much for them to take in they will never grow tired as there always something new to explore. the only problem we had was putting all 4 bright noisy bugs on at the same time was a bit overwelming at first so i would suggest trying one at a time at 20 min intervals
Cool Item October 2, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
we bought these from another company at a higher price but still found them worth it!! when our daughter was small we entertained her with them (away from her hands and feet.) she loved them then!! They are also a great toy now that she can find her hands and feet. We have discovered that she also likes to hold them and wiggle them around!! To the point, although i agree that the socks may come off easily and also that the rattle is rather quiet, i still believe these to be a worthwhile investment, bright, engaging, entertaining and interesting for the baby who is not quite into everything!!
Not that inspired... September 27, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Perhaps I introduced these too early but my baby just didn't seem interested in them at all. Now he's found his hands and feet so they're pretty much redundant!!! They have merit as 'cute' toys (we've tied them round cot bars, the baby gym etc etc) and they rattle and crinkle but I would'nt get them again. Not really worth the money in my opinion.
Find your hands, find your toes! September 1, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Lamaze have come up with another highly entertaining toy for babies. The two wrists strap each have a bug shaped rattle on. The velcro design of the fixing means that they are very adjustable and will fit baby's wrists for a long while. My baby enjoys them and I don't have to worry about him dropping them the whole time. The socks aren't quite so good. The design is more like a sack, so they don't stay on baby's feet well at all; a velcro strap might help in a future design. Again they each have a bug shaped rattle on and they certainly encourage baby to reach for his toes. So 4 stars - the design for the socks could do with a tweak, but a lovely product all the same.
Could be louder! August 10, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought these for my eight week old son, as he waves his arms and legs around a lot and thought this might entertain him in between his bouts of crying. Also he has a fantastic habit of punching himself in the face and anything attached to his wrist reduces those opportunities and therefore in turn the bouts of crying. The recommended age is for 3 months plus but if you have a baby that waves its arms and legs around and you need something to take their attention for a while then this is it! There are other wrist rattles on the market but this is the only set I have seen that comes with feet as well. As he is a bit young for them and he has skinny arms and legs I put them over his babygro - but with enthusiastic waving/thrashing them come off. He is most impressed currently with the feet (although his feet are a new discovery full stop anyway) but I think this is also to do with the fact that he has had numerous toys attached to his wrists of late (see the issue with face hitting above). The only reason I haven't given this a five is because the rattle sound is so quiet, I think it needs to be louder as I can barely hear it and it is considerably quieter than any other rattles of this type.
If you want something to distract your little one then this is it...
