 Pet Owner's Guide to Border Terriers July 9, 2008
This is a small and concise book (ie one doesn't get bogged down with too much unnecessary information) and it has much common sense and practical advice. Some books may go into more detail, which might be useful for a first-time dog owner, but I bought it because although I have had several dogs in my life, I haven't had a Border Terrier. I have found it extremely helpful and entertaining. It has given me complete confidence in our choice of our next dog and I can't wait to pick him up in 2 weeks' time.

A great book, easy to read with some really useful information that perhaps after reading it you might think gosh thats a simple idea why didn't I think that. Betty makes you feel inspired and confident to go ahead with the decision of getting a puppy which is exactly what we did and she is due to come to us in 2 weeks time. Can't wait!! A must purchase for all, simple, nicely illustrated with good tips.

Betty Judge obviously has a great deal of experience of this charming breed which reflects in her clear,concise narrative. It is full of common sense advice on puppys first days in its new home to showing, breeding, training and care of the veteran dog to name but a few of the topics packed into this book. Competitively priced and written with the pet owner in mind this book should accompany every Border puppy to its new home.

Such an easy little book to read, amusing in parts. Written by a person who obviously has a wealth and great depth of knowledge of this charming breed. I am so glad I got a copy when I got my puppy, as it covers everything a pet owner would wish and need to know.

this book covers all the information in a detailed format for the pet border terrier owner, written from a depth of knowledge and complete understanding of the breed. Invaluable for the first time owner of the border terrier!
